Honestly, I would NOT buy a ring online. The best way to make sure you don’t get ripped off is to research the proper way to buy a diamond ring…
Do a google search for “buying an engagement ring” or “buying loose diamonds”
There is more to it than you know! OFTEN times, buying online is another way to support child labor. Or cheap labor from other countries…..stay away from Debeers for instance! I wouldn’t trust an online seller.. Best to see what your buying IN PERSON!
I think that if you print out that image, and go to a few different loose diamond dealers, who would also own a jewelery shop, you will get the best results. They know the industry well! Make sure you get to look at a few different diamonds with a Loupe, or better yet, if available a microscope. Its easy to get dupped when buying diamonds.
Best thing you can do is educate yourself! Be careful, be prepared!
